Role
UI/UX Designer
Platform

Focus
Checkout flow, pricing clarity, conversion optimization
This project focused on reducing friction during the cart and checkout flow of a quick-commerce app. The goal was to help users reach the payment stage faster, understand the final payable amount clearly, and build trust through transparent pricing and delivery options.

Key challenges

The existing checkout experience suffered from poor visual hierarchy, hidden costs, and cognitive overload. Users struggled to understand delivery options, total payable amount, and savings. Important actions like proceeding to payment lacked emphasis, resulting in hesitation and drop-offs.

Design approach

The redesign focused on merging cart and checkout into a single, streamlined flow. Clear sectioning, improved typography hierarchy, and prominent CTAs guided users naturally toward payment. Savings and effective price were highlighted to reinforce trust and decision-making.

Impact & results

The redesigned checkout flow reduced friction and improved user confidence at the most critical stage of the journey. Clear pricing, visual emphasis on savings, and a stronger call-to-action helped users complete purchases faster and with greater clarity.
